AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner has seemingly moved on from Timothee Chalamet. The reality TV star and fashion mogul allegedly is dating college basketball player Paxson Wojcik amid rumors that she had called it quits with the "Wonka" actor.
Kylie's new romance speculations first emerged after a video suggested that she slid into his DMs. The said video featured comedian Brian McLaughlin asking the University of North Carolina basketball player about Kylie supposedly sending him a private message through Instagram.
Brian told Paxson, "There's a story going on, on social media, that there was a famous person in your DMs by the name of Miss Kylie Jenner." In response to the question, the Tar Heels guard replied, "I can't speak on it. No comment."
The 23-year-old, however, later hinted that he might be planning to visit the mom of two as he teased, "En route to L.A. next week though." Brian then pointed out, "You know what? The Jenners live in L.A." Paxson coyly replied, "No comment."
Upon watching the video, some fans believed that there's something going on between Kylie and Paxson. "They're [definitely] hooking up. She's over Timothee I guess? Maybe this guy is willing to be seen in public with her," one said.
Some others commented on the 3-year gap between the pair. "A college student. Gimme a break," one wrote. Another added, "screaming. lol she's a cougar at 26 and fully looks the part."
One person pointed out, "He was in one of Kim's Skims campaign. I think Kylie liked what she saw and reached out to him." One other claimed, "Kylie followed him then unfollowed him."
Prior to this, fans believed that Kylie was soft-launching her split from Timothee in a TikTok video. The said video showed her morning routine that didn't involve Timothee at all. The two also haven't been seen together in public since attending the 2024 Golden Globes together in February.
A source, however, claimed that their decreased public sightings was because he feared their coverage would distract from his new film, "Dune: Part Two". "His career is taking off and he wants to protect it and let it thrive based on his talent - not who he is or isn't dating. He also wants to protect his relationship with Kylie," the source said.
"Timothee has decided to keep a low profile with Kylie, mainly because he wants 'Dune 2' to get all the attention and for the movie to speak for itself," it divulged. "[Zendaya Coleman] and others from the film have also refrained from flaunting their relationships during the press tour, because they want the movie to be its own thing and not have any outside drama or distractions ruining that."
