AceShowbiz - Actor Tyrese Gibson has expressed support for Marlon Wayans after the latter was accused of being a deadbeat father by his new baby's mother, Brittany Moreland.
In a comment on a social media post, Tyrese urged Wayans to "stand up" and not "fold" amidst the accusations. He questioned the reasonableness of Moreland's $20,000 per month child support request for a one-year-old child.
"Stand up Marlon……. F**k that…. Don't fold King… These professional baby mommas out here pimping the kids out…," Tyrese penned. "Find a one-year-old who needs $20,000 a month FOH!!!!!"
Wayans, 51, has denied being a deadbeat and has lashed out against Moreland, 34, for "using and discrediting" him. He claims to be a "good, loving, responsible father" who has been providing over $18,000 per month in child support.
Wayans maintains that the baby is not a secret and that Moreland has been posting about her on social media. However, he has chosen to keep the baby's private life private to protect her from the "toxic" and "dangerous" nature of social media.
Tyrese's comments have sparked a debate on the issue of responsible fatherhood and the potential exploitation of children in child support disputes.
