AceShowbiz - Erykah Badu called out Jay-Z following her shady post about Beyonce Knowles. Shortly after sharing a shady post about Queen Bey's racy "Cowboy Carter" album cover, the "Window Seat" singer asked the "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" rapper to fend off the "Break My Soul" hitmaker's fans, famously known as Beyhive.

On Wednesday, March 20, the 53-year-old songstress made use of X, formerly known as Twitter, to urge the 54-year-old hip-hop artist to come to her rescue. In a tweet, she penned, "To Jay Z . Say somethin Jay . You gone let this woman and these bees do this to me ??"

In the same tweet, the "Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)" singer uploaded a video featuring a message that read, "And I might hate you for the rest of my life for real. Because you knew. You knew."

The tweet came only hours after Erykah, who is known for her braided locks, gave her reaction to Beyonce's new "Cowboy Carter" album cover art. Reposting the artwork on Instagram Stories, she simply wrote, "Hmmm," prompting many to believe that she accused Beyonce of copying her signature beaded hairdo.

The new cover art of "Cowboy Carter" itself was revealed by Beyonce earlier that day. She took to Instagram to share the artwork, which featured herself. In it, she looked different as her long dark-colored tresses were styled in braids. Her bangs were also braided with red and white hair accessories.

In the cover art, the "Halo" songstress, who was captured holding a cigar in one of her hands, stripped down to her birthday suit to expose some skin. She put on a leggy display as she ditched her pants, showing off her waist down to her feet. To cover her private area, she simply crossed one of her legs.

Despite flaunting her body parts, Queen Bey covered one of her breasts with a white sash, which came with red and dark blue outlines. The sash featured a message that read, "act ii BEYINCI." Meanwhile, her other breast was covered with her hand and long braided hair.

Along with the artwork, Beyonce wrote in the caption of the post, "act ii COWBOY CARTER 3.29. PRE-ORDER THE LIMITED EDITION EXCLUSIVE COVER VINYL NOW ON SHOP.BEYONCE.COM."
