AceShowbiz - It looks like Chris Young regrets his trouble with the law. The country crooner, who was arrested for disorderly conduct in Nashville, looked upset in his mugshot.

The 38-year-old was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest following an alleged altercation at the DawgHouse Saloon on Monday night, January 22. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by PEOPLE, the musician followed police from Tin Roof bar to the DawgHouse before striking an officer on the shoulder, leading him to be physically detained by two officials.

Police allegedly arrived at Tin Roof around 8:30 P.M. to conduct a compliance check on behalf of the Alcoholic Beverage Commission and encountered Chris sitting at the bar. The officers verified his ID and then worked with the bar staff to check the establishment's ABC cards, at which point Chris talked with the cops and began filming the moment.

Once the officers left Tin Roof to check ABC cards at DawgHouse, Chris and his friends followed the officials to the subsequent bar and spoke with its staff. As the police looked to exit the location, the artist reportedly laid hands on the officer and "struck" him on the shoulder.

The police officer, who was unaware of Chris' identity, allegedly pushed him away before another bar patron intervened. Chris then allegedly "began yelling and screaming," refusing to follow the directions of an officer speaking to him.

Two officials then "physically detained" the "Drinkin' Me Lonely" singer in handcuffs, per the affidavit, and some of his friends grew "hostile" and followed the cops as they left the bar. According to the documents, Chris' speech was "slurred," while his "eyes were blood shot and watery."

Chris was later taken into custody but he was released after posting $250 bonds for the disorderly conduct charge, $1,000 for the resisting arrest charge and $1,250 for the assault charge. He's set to make a court appearance on February 16.
