AceShowbiz - "Summer House" unveils the trailer for the highly-anticipated season 8. Released on Thursday, January 11, the trailer features the first look at Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke calling off their engagement.

The trailer opens with an audio of the former couple having an explosive argument. Carl can be heard saying that he's "not happy," while Lindsay insists that she needs to "have the power" in their relationship.

"I want you to be happy," Lindsay says. In response to that, Carl replies, "I'm not happy and I don't think you're happy. You need that in a relationship, you need to have the power over the other person."

The scene then cuts to footage of them having another heated conversation in their New York City apartment. "You're really gifted at playing victim," Carl tells Lindsay. At one point, the camera shows her engagement ring, which is sitting on a table with a white makeup bag embroidered with the word "Bride."

Lindsay seemingly can't no longer stand him as she stands up and storms into her bedroom. She tells her then-fiance, "Well, there's no more point to this conversation. You've made the decision clear."

Carl then breaks the fourth wall by telling a Bravo producer how he thinks their breakup will play out. "I thought she would react a little differently. She's gonna spin this and then tell everybody she's blindsided. I'll be the bad guy, that's fine. But she's blind to the things that have gone on the last year," he admits.

At one point, the trailer sees Carl yelling, "You accused me of doing drugs!" He then hurls a soda can and screams to co-star Kyle Cooke, "I'll f**king burn this house down!"

Carl and Lindsay ended their engagement in August 2023. "Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn't move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of 'Summer House'," sources told Entertainment Tonight at the time.

Season 8 will see Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera and Gabby Prescod returning. They will be joined by newcomers Jesse Solomon and West Wilson.

"Summer House" returns on Thursday, February 22 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on Bravo.
