Words are the football tight end is planning 'something special' to celebrate his girlfriend's 34th birthday on December 13 and the Grammy winner hopes that it includes a proposal.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift may be seeing a ring on that finger sooner than later. The country-turned-pop superstar is reportedly expecting a proposal from her beau Travis Kelce as she's going to spend her birthday with him.

For the Grammy winner's upcoming 34th birthday on December 13, the NFL star is allegedly planning "something special." A so-called insider tells Life & Style, "Travis has something special planned. He's arranged a very intimate romantic dinner just for the two of them."

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is said to be also preparing "a semi-surprise party with the help of some of her closest friends," where he may propose to his girlfriend. "There are whispers that he could use the opportunity to propose - that's what everyone, including Taylor, is hoping for!" the source adds.

Taylor flew straight to Kansas City from Brazil after concluding the South American leg of her "Eras Tour". Though she was recently seen in New York City, the pair are reportedly planning to spend time together during the holidays.

"Taylor and Travis are playing house right now. They already know they're compatible, but living together for an extended period will be the ultimate test," the source dishes. Both of them also get along well with each other's parents. "Even Taylor and Travis are surprised at how seamlessly they've been able to blend their lives. It's been effortless," the source claims.

While Taylor is staying at Travis' $6 million mansion which he just bought in October, the "Lavender Haze" songstress "is helping him set everything up while she's there," shares the source, "and she's doing some holiday decorating, too."

The upcoming birthday and possible engagement aside, Taylor has a lot to celebrate these days. The 33-year-old was recently named TIME's Person of the Year and it has been reported that her "Eras Tour" smashed record with over $1 billion in gross ticket sales.

According to live-music trade publication Pollstar, it's the first-ever tour to break the billion-dollar milestone. The tour has now grossed $1,039,263,762, which she earned in only eight months. With average ticket price of about $240, her average per-show gross was $17,321,063.

Those record-breaking numbers are expected to escalate as Pollstar predicts that ticket sales from the remaining dates of the tour will once again hit $1B, taking the tour's total to $2 billion. Taylor will resume the tour on February 7 in Tokyo, Japan before returning for more shows in North America in October.
