AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift had a few words for her "enemies" after adding one more accolade to her resume. When reflecting on her success in her TIME 2023 Person of the Year cover story, the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker called out Kanye West and Scooter Braun.

"Nothing is permanent," the 33-year-wrote told the magazine. "So I'm very careful to be grateful every second that I get to be doing this at this level, because I've had it taken away from me before."

"There is one thing I've learned: My response to anything that happens, good or bad, is to keep making things. Keep making art," she added. "But I've also learned there's no point in actively trying to quote unquote defeat your enemies. Trash takes itself out every single time."

Referring to her 2016 feud with Kanye and his then-wife, Kim Kardashian, as "a career death," Taylor claimed, "I had all the hyenas climb on and take their shots." The feud stemmed after Taylor and Kanye's conversation over the phone was recorded at a Los Angeles studio without her consent, and it was Kim who leaked the recording.

Meanwhile, Taylor and Scooter's feud after he acquired her albums' masters. "I learned about Scooter Braun's purchase of my masters as it was announced to the world," she wrote back in 2019. "All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I've received at his hands for years."

When she tried to regain ownership of her catalog, Taylor claimed, "My team attempted to enter into negotiations with Scooter Braun. Scooter's team wanted me to sign an ironclad NDA stating I would never say another word about Scooter Braun unless it was positive, before we could even look at the financial records of BMLG (which is always the first step in a purchase of this nature). So, I would have to sign a document that would silence me forever before I could even have a chance to bid on my own work."
