Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds 'Mutually' Decide to Call Off Engagement

AceShowbiz - Deion Sanders and Tracey Edmonds have shocked the public with their split. Around four years after getting engaged, the former NFL player and the CEO of Edmonds Entertainment Group Inc announced that they "mutually decided" to call it quits.

The 56-year-old football coach and the 56-year-old TV personality made use of Instagram to share the shocking news. In the caption of an Instagram post, they wrote, "To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us loveā€¦ We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS."

Deion and Tracey went on to spill, "And [we] have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we've shared together." They continued, "Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!" adding folded hands and red heart emojis.

It did not take long for the post to be flooded with responses from Instagram users. Among them was Deion, who showed his love for Tracey in the comments section, "Love u Tracey and You've been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times we've shared and they laughs we've had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack !!!"

Deion and Tracey met each other for the first time at a premiere party of a movie back in 2012. Seven years later, on Valentine's Day, the former couple revealed that they were engaged. Along with the announcement, she penned, "God is SO GOOD! Were 8 years in, made it through the storms TOGETHER, and will be spending the rest of our lives TOGETHER!"

Deion and Tracey already have children from their previous relationships respectively. The former Baltimore Ravens player is a father to Deiondra and Deion Jr., whom he has with his first wife Carolyn Chambers, as well as Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi, whom he shares with his second wife Pilar Biggers-Sanders. Meanwhile, Tracey has sons Brandon and Dylan with musician Babyface.
