The 55-year-old opens up about his health issue when meeting orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ken Hunt, vascular surgeons Dr. Donald Jacobs, Dr. Max Wohlauer and athletic trainer Lauren Askevold in an episode of 'Thee Pregame Show'.

AceShowbiz - Deion Sanders might lose his left foot due to poor circulation. In an episode of "Thee Pregame Show" on YouTube, the former NFL and MLB star divulged that he can't feel the bottom of his left foot and asked for suggestions from his medical team.

In the episode, the 55-year-old met orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ken Hunt, vascular surgeons Dr. Donald Jacobs, Dr. Max Wohlauer and athletic trainer Lauren Askevold. They were discussing the possible next steps to alleviate the daily pain.

"You just have to understand what the risks are. Things can cascade," Dr. Jacobs said, adding that the Colorado coach might not just lose another toe but "could lose the foot." In response, he said, "Well, I know what risks are... I only have eight toes. So, I'm pretty sure I understand."

It looks like Sanders is ready for the procedure. He said if that could help him, he wants to get it done right away before he gets busy. "I want to do it this summer because when we get rolling, I'm not going to have time to do it," he said. "This is the best downtime I have."

Sanders previously disclosed that he had nine surgeries, including eight within a month on the left leg, after developing blood clots that resulted in him having two toes amputated in 2021 while he was the football head coach at Jackson State University. He missed three games due to the amputations.
