The singer/actress, who split from the hip-hop mogul in 2018, previously accused her ex-boyfriend of 'rape, and of repeated physical abuse over about a decade' in her lawsuit.

AceShowbiz - Cassie and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' legal battle doesn't last long. Just one day after the "Me and U" songstress filed an explosive lawsuit against her the Bad Boy Records founder, the exes announced that they've "amicably" settled the issue.

"I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control," the 37-year-old said in a statement released on Friday, November 17. "I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."

Diddy, for his part, declared, "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love." The rapper and his former partner, however, didn't disclose details about the terms of the settlement.

Cassie, born Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, accused Diddy of rape, abuse and sex trafficking in her lawsuit. In legal documents, she claimed that he raped her back in 2018, forced her to perform sexual acts with sex workers as she was given drugs and alcohol "in excessive amounts" as well as physically assaulted her. All of those reportedly happened after meeting him in 2005/2006 and signing "a ten-album deal" with his record label in February 2006.

Diddy was quick to shut down the allegations. Calling them "baseless and outrageous lies," his attorney Ben Brafman said in a statement, "Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations." Ben added that the lawsuit aims "to tarnish Mr. Combs' reputation and seeking a pay day."

Despite Diddy's denial, some evidence supporting his abusive behavior started surfacing online. An old photo of Cassie's bandaged forehead made its way online on X (formerly Twitter). In the snap, the actress seemingly had a cut covered with a bandage slightly above one of her eyebrows and an apparent bruise on her swollen lower lip.

Earlier on Friday, a past interview about Diddy "threatening to hit" Kimora Lee Simmons resurfaced on the Internet. The alleged incident happened after the fashion designer said something to the emcee, but he eventually got down on his knee and apologized to her in public.
