In a 2004 profile of the 48-year-old for New York Magazine, it was unveiled that the hip-hop mogul threatened to hit the fashion designer after she said something to him.

AceShowbiz - Kimora Lee Simmons has raised people's eyebrows with her new social media post. The model shared a cryptic message on Instagram Story after an interview about Sean "P. Diddy" Combs "threatening to hit" her resurfaced online amid Cassie's lawsuit.

"As you sow, so shall you reap," the 48-year-old, who was married to Def Jam Recordings founder Russell Simmons from 1998 to 2006, simply penned on Friday, November 17. She also added a red heart emoji.

Kimora was profiled in New York Magazine back in 2004. In the interview, it was unveiled that Diddy threatened to hit the fashion designer after she said something to him. "And I was pregnant! The moron!" Kimora said.

The Bad Boy Records founder, however, reportedly got down on his knees in public to apologize. "I respect him for being a fierce entrepreneur," Kimora said in the article. "And I appreciate knowing that everything he does is emulating my husband."

Diddy has been in the hot seat after Cassie filed a disturbing lawsuit against him. In the lawsuit, the singer accused her ex-boyfriend of "rape, and of repeated physical abuse over about a decade."

Diddy, who has denied the allegations, was also reportedly under criminal investigation by the New York City Police Department. However, NYPD already shut down the report.

"Yesterday, a member of the NYPD's public information office erroneously told a reporter about the apparent existence of an active case file containing the name 'Sean Combs,' " the NYPD said in a statement. "There is no such investigation, at present."

"Further, the release of such information is not consistent with the internal policies of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information," the message added. "The NYPD always treats allegations of sexual assault and rape extremely seriously, and urges anyone who has been a victim to file a police report so that support and services can be offered to survivors and a comprehensive investigation can be conducted."
