While their love life often becomes public consumption, some famous stars refuse to turn their nuptials into a spectacle and keep the celebrations of their special days intimate and private.

AceShowbiz - In this modern world, marriage is no longer compulsory to solidify the status of a relationship. Still, like most commoners, some celebrities who are madly in love want to make their union official in the face of the law. Hence they are getting married.

Often times, their nuptials become a public spectacle due to fans' infatuation of what they envision as fairytale weddings. However, some famous stars are apparently fed up with the immense attention and want to keep their weddings sacred.

Possibly for this reason, a number of celebrities have secretly tied the knot in these last few months. Nearing the end of 2023, AceShowbiz has compiled the list of celebrities who have quietly tied the knot in this year.

1. Ashley Benson and Brandon Davis

Ashley Benson is likely feeling happier these days. Not only she is going to be a first-time mom soon, but also she is newly married to Brandon Davis. Though she has not publicly spoken about it, Entertainment Tonight reported on November 8, "The confirmation of their nuptials (from a source) comes just days after Ashley's mother, Shannon Benson, shared a photo on Instagram of what looks to be her daughter and her new son-in-law wearing wedding bands."

The pair were indeed seen wearing what looked like wedding bands during their date night one day later. The news about their wedding came after the "Pretty Little Liars" alum was reported to be expecting her first child with the 44-year-old billionaire. Her apparent baby bump was visible when she was shopping at Babylist's Beverly Hills showroom on November 6.

2. Toni Braxton and Birdman

Toni Braxton and Birdman have been together since 2016. Throughout their relationship, they have broken up and made up several times, leaving many wondering what the current status of their relationship is. Though they announced they were engaged in 2018, they called off their engagement in January 2019, only to reconcile several months later.

In 2022, Toni once again sparked speculation that she and her longtime partner have broken up. She, however, recently showed that they remain strong by posting a photo of her and her boyfriend on social media. Even better, they have reportedly been married for several months. According to a recent report by Meda Take Out, the couple swapped vows sometime in the summer in a private ceremony in Mexico.

3. Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi

Zac Brown is officially off the market now. One year after getting engaged to Kelly Yazdi, the Zac Brown Band vocalist has reportedly married the model. According to their marriage certificate obtained by TMZ, the couple tied the knot back in August 31 in Coweta County, Georgia.

Much like their nuptials, Zac and Kelly never spoke publicly about their engagement. Their betrothal, however, was made obvious after Kelly was spotted with a giant engagement ring back in July 2022. He was previously married to Shelly, the mother of his five children, before their 12-year marriage came to an end in 2018.

4. Milo Ventimiglia and Jarah Mariano

Milo Ventimiglia has been notoriously private about his personal life, so it's no surprise that he wanted to keep his nuptials to Jarah Mariano under the wraps. In late October, Us Weekly reported that the pair had secretly tied the knot in a private ceremony earlier this year.

Little is known about the couple's special day, but in photos obtained by the site, the "This Is Us" star was dressed head-to-toe in white and wearing a long flower necklace. His bride wore a white dress with an open back as she sported a crown of flowers known as a haku lei.

Frances Bean Cobain is another celebrity who quit her life as a bachelorette before the end of the year. In October, the daughter of Kurt Cobain reportedly swapped vows with professional skateboarder Riley Hawk in Los Angeles after getting a marriage license in September in San Diego County.

According to docs read by TMZ, R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe officiated the couple's wedding on October 7. While neither of them has confirmed the news, their new accessories spoke louder than words as they were seen with their wedding bands while out and about on November in Oceanside, California.

In October, it was confirmed that the former "The Vampire Diaries" actress and the motivational coach had a legal ceremony in Los Angeles, with a friend officiating their union. The newlyweds reportedly plan a second, larger wedding in 2024, but no date has been set.

Chris Evans broke the hearts of thousands, if not millions, of women when he married his girlfriend Alba Baptista. In September, it was reported that the "Knives Out" star and the Portuguese actress had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Boston-area home.

In October, "The Avengers" star confirmed his marital status. "I got married. It was really, really great," he told fans at New York Comic Con. The 42-year-old went on spilling, "We kind of had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal - my wife's Portuguese. But they were just… wonderful and beautiful."

While Kim Kardashian has been quite reserved about dating again following her split from Pete Davidson, her ex-husband Kanye West seemingly had no qualm about getting married again. In January, it was reported that he had married his girlfriend Bianca Censori.

After first, it was said that their union was not legally binding. However, in October it was revealed that the rapper legally married the Australian architecture after all. Daily Mail reported that they tied the knot in December 2022 using a "confidential marriage license," although it's not until ten months later that the news was brought to light.
