More than two months after calling it quits with his 'Summer House' co-star, the reality TV cast member opens up in a podcast interview about the aftermath of their split.

AceShowbiz - Carl Radke has regretted the way he called it quits with Lindsay Hubbard. More than two months after canceling his wedding to his "Summer House" co-star, the reality TV cast member admits to feeling "really bad" for how he ended their engagement.

When making an appearance on "Salty With Captain Lee" podcast, the 38-year-old star talks about the aftermath of his split from his 37-year-old then-fiance. In a sneak peek at the Wednesday, November 8 episode obtained by Us Weekly, he tells Captain Lee Robach, "It's been scary. It's been confusing. It's been emotional."

Carl goes on to candidly share, "And I feel really bad with how everything ultimately played out. If I could go back and make something a little bit easier or better, I would." Though so, he further states, "I do firmly think Lindsay and I going in separate directions will be healthier for us in the long run."

Carl and Lindsay, who got engaged back in August 2022, were initially set to tie the knot in Mexico this month. A few months ahead of their nuptials, they shocked the public with news of their split. On August 31, sources told Entertainment Tonight, "The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn't move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of 'Summer House'."

In the wake of the breakup, Lindsay claimed that she was "completely blindsided" by Carl's one-sided decision. "I was completely blindsided," she told Us Weekly on November 1. It was reported that Carl "never gave her a concrete reason for calling off the nuptials." She said, "He blew up my entire life. I was crying, I was angry, and I had to find closure on my own." Fortunately, she is "now at a place where I feel really good about moving on."

On the other hand, Carl insisted that Lindsay was not "blindsided" by the split. "I firmly don't believe she was blindsided because we've had these conversations," Carl spoke to PEOPLE on November 3. "We had a really rough summer and I think people will see that. But it just shows the gravity of the situation when I really deep down felt like I needed to have a conversation with her about where we were at in our relationship and moving forward with the wedding."

Lindsay appeared to have moved on from Carl. Recently, she confessed her crush on "Below Deck Down Under" star Captain Jason Chambers. Speaking to Page Six at the 2023 BravoCon in Las Vegas on November 3, she stated, "You know, I read an article that Captain Jason had his eyes on me. I'm ready to go down under."
