In a Halloween special episode of 'Today', the co-anchor of the TV program delivers the Grammy-winning singer's song 'Cruel Summer' in a sparkling colorful bodysuit and silver high boots.

AceShowbiz - Savannah Guthrie has revealed her daughter's hilarious reaction to her epic costume for Halloween. In a new interview, the "Today" co-anchor recalled how Vale reacted upon learning that her mother dressed up as Taylor Swift.

Speaking to Page Six on Tuesday, October 31, the 51-year-old spilled, "Well, my daughter was a little bit horrified by me." She went on to say, "But she loved being up there, and she knows every word to every Taylor song, so she was just so happy to be up there, it was so cute."

Earlier that day, Savannah showed off her costume on "Today" show for its Halloween special episode. She appeared onstage in an outfit similar to that of Taylor when the singer performed at one of her previous shows. The outfit consisted of a colorful bodysuit, which was covered in sparkling embellishment. The onesie, which she paired with a dark green robe, also came with a plunging neckline.

The TV personality did not forget to wear a sparkling necklace and a pair of shimmering silver knee-high boots. She even put on Taylor's iconic bright red lipstick and wig of long blonde hair, which was styled into a simple straight hairdo with bangs, to complete the look.

During the show, Savannah performed one of Taylor's songs titled "Cruel Summer" along with a number of backup dancers. Not stopping there, she was holding a silver microphone in one of her hands as she delivered the track.

In the meantime, her daughter Vale and son Charley, who dressed up as Taylor and Stephen Curry respectively, watched their mother perform from the audience. At one point, Vale appeared on the stage while Charley chose to cheer on his sister and mother from the sidelines.

Later on, Savannah told Page Six in the same interview about her children's opinions on the show's special episode. "They love it, they really do, it's fun for them," she stated. "Since they were babies they've known this whole crew. It's all Aunt [Hoda Kotb] and Uncle [Willie Geist] and Aunt [Jenna Bush Hager] like they've all grown up with them, so it's like coming home for them."

During the chat, Savannah voiced her thoughts on dressing up as Taylor. "I'm just so lucky. I was dying to be Taylor Swift! When I saw that they wanted me to wear this particular bathing suit, then I got scared, so I kinda waffled for a few weeks like, 'I can't, I can't!' I tried my best. You just have to fake it til you make it, even if you're scared to death."
