Replacing Jenna Bush Hager on NBC's popular morning news program, the 'Real Housewives of New York City' alum claims that her original outfit 'was not brought' from The Hamptons.

AceShowbiz - Bethenny Frankel has committed "to the bit" for her stint on "Today with Hoda and Jenna" show. Temporarily filling Jenna Bush Hager's spot as co-host on the popular morning news program, the former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" chose to wear a branded swimsuit.
The 52-year-old entrepreneur made an appearance on the NBC program on Tuesday, June 27. She wore a black one-piece swimsuit that has colorful "TODAY" typography as well as the morning show's rainbow logo complete with abstract patterns of pink, yellow and blue at the bottom.
At the beginning of the morning show, Bethenny explained to co-host Hoda Kotb how she ended up picking the swimsuit for the gig. Referring to her TikTok video, she first spilled, "I had a great outfit and the people on TikTok loved it. They said they thought it was amazing."
"I was really excited and I got here and said, 'Where is the outfit?' And I saw people scurrying around me, flipping out, and it was not brought, it didn't come from The Hamptons to the city," the TV personality went on to explain.
Bethenny then recalled receiving help from Dylan Dreyer who is the morning show's third hour host. "I was told that Dillon graciously allowed me her dressing room to look for an outfit," she added. "And I thought, 'What am I gonna do? wear someone elses clothes?' I saw this, so I said, 'Let's commit to the bit,' and I'm grateful. So I'm committing to the bit."
In response, Hoda could not help but burst into laughter as she pointed to the side cut-outs on Bethenny's bathing suit. She told the latter, "No wonder! Because Dylan said, 'Did you take the bathing suit?' And I didn't know what she was talking about!"
For her "Today" appearance, in addition to the one-piece bathing suit, Bethenny donned a pair of long black skinny jeans and matching pointed-toe strappy high heels. She styled her long black hair in loose waves and added minimal accessories to complete her laid-back summer ensemble.
Bethenny had actually prepared a chic outfit for her co-hosting gig. On Friday, June 23, the reality TV star uploaded a video on TikTok to show off the whole ensemble she had chosen and asked for her viewers' opinion. "Help me get ready for the today show," she began in the clip.
The mother of one picked a long-sleeved cropped yellow crew neck sweater which came with bird and flowers embellishments on the bodice. She paired it with a long white skirt, a pair of red pointed-toe strappy high heels and a green handbag.
Near the end of her video, Bethenny asked for others' opinions on her getup. She quipped, "Hey Hoda, what do you think this feels? I feel a little luncheony, but I think it's still cute. What do you think?"
