When discussing her career in Hollywood, the actress famous for her Quinn Fabray portrayal in 'Glee' declares there have been many 'untrue' stories about her dating life.

AceShowbiz - Dianna Agron has once again set things straight on past rumors of her dating Taylor Swift. Being long speculated to have been romantically involved with the "Shake It Off" hitmaker, the actress who rose to fame depicting Quinn Fabray on the series "Glee" was more than ready to clear the air for good.

In a feature by Rolling Stone published on Saturday, May 6, Dianna was discussing her Hollywood career when the subject of her friendship with Taylor was brought up. Responding to a statement they have been "shipped" by many, she stated, "That is so interesting. I… I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That's funny."

During the chat, the 37-year-old actress also weighed in on thoughts she was the inspiration behind the 33-year-old singer's "22" single since she appeared in the liner notes. "Me? Oh, if only! That's more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song," she pointed out. "But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!"

The Rolling Stone interview was not Dianna's first time in shooting down the Taylor romance rumors. Back in 2012, she was asked if she was dating Taylor by Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". She shrugged it off with a simple "No," before adding, "Wouldn't that be juicy?" She then turned to the camera, blew a kiss and said, "Hi, Taylor."

Dating life aside, Dianna also talked about being a young female star on a hot show during the "Glee" era. She admitted, "I think it was a sliding scale of appropriate to terribly inappropriate, and especially if you're playing a character who people find to be attractive, or you are a young person who people find to be fit in a box that they would like to put you in, which is 'young and sexy.' "

"That was the hardest thing for me to reconcile with," she further confessed. "I was a pretty nerdy kid and not much has changed, so I didn't ever really feel comfortable dolling up or expressing my sexuality in that way, because I didn't even fully understand how I felt about my own sexuality. I really came of age on that show."

"I was 22 when it started," Dianna continued reflecting. "There were things that happened where I had to learn how to use my voice to advocate for myself, and I wish people would have had more of an awareness to support me or ask my permission."
