Even with a button missing, a burn hole and discoloration on both pockets, the green mohair sweater worn by the late Nirvana frontman still manages to surpass experts' sale price prediction.

AceShowbiz - The cardigan Kurt Cobain wore for an "MTV Unplugged" performance sold for a staggering $334,000 (£260,388) at auction on Friday, October 25.
The tragic former Nirvana frontman's widow, Courtney Love, gifted the green mohair sweater to Jackie Farry, who worked as a nanny for the couple's daughter Frances Bean Cobain, after the rocker's 1994 death - and she later sold it.
Now, the anonymous businessman, who purchased it at auction four years ago for $137,500 (£112,000), has made a huge profit on the item which was sold through California-based Julien's Auctions.
The cardigan was expected to bring in big money, after a fan offered the pre-auction minimum bid of $200,000 (£163,000) weeks before the auction went live. Experts had predicted the sale price could rise as high as $300,000 ($245,000).
The cardigan was previously described as "a blend of acrylic, mohair and Lycra with five-button closure (one button absent), with two exterior pockets, a burn hole and discolouration near left pocket and discolouration on right pocket."
It was sold with a letter of authenticity from Farry.
