While many people think that him appearing on reality TV is one of the many things that led him to the disaster, the athlete says that he never regrets to be with the TV star.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has gone through a lot following his infamous overdose which almost took his life back in 2015. The sports star recently appeared on "TMZ Live" to talk about how he had learned to forgive himself for the mistakes he's made in the past and even talked about his past marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

The 39-year-old revealed in the interview that he'd been taking up motivational speaking with a company called MicDrop. He went on saying that it became therapeutic for him. Odom added that one of his mistakes was that he felt that he had failed as a father, and he included his children in his motivational speaking work.

"This is a great way for me to make up the time I lost with them and help them get better as well," he said.

While many people thought him appearing on reality TV during the time he was with Khloe was one of the many things that led him to the disaster, Lamar said that he never regretted to be with Khloe and appearing on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".

"Doing reality TV and being married to Khloe, besides having children and besides me doing this motivational speaking that I'm going to start doing, that was the most memorable part and the best part of my adulthood," he said. "So, there's nothing I regret about that."

In addition, Lamar revealed that he was hoping to rebuild relationship with the famous clan. "And, hopefully, me going to public speaking can even bring me closer to the Kardashians and help me rebuild that bridge," he shared.

Prior to this, Lamar released a memoir titled "Darkness to Light" in which he talked about how Khloe once "beat the s**t" out of a stripper after forcing her way into his hotel room. Additionally, he claimed that he once threatened to kill the "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian" host while he was on drugs.

The exes were on good terms despite the memoir. In fact, Khloe congratulated him for the book through a "friendly" text. "She sent me a text yesterday," Lamar said of Khloe during his appearance on "The Jenny McCarthy Show" on Wednesday, May 29. "She talked about one of the stories that I told in the book about her coming to the hotel and putting her hands on a girl. She said that she didn't even think that I remembered that story."
