AceShowbiz - Rob Kardashian is forever a brother to Lamar Odom. Even though he ended his marriage to Khloe Kardashian seven years ago, the retired basketball player talked positively about his former brother-in-law.
"I don't have any siblings," Lamar shared while speaking to E! News' Francesca Amiker. "It was cool to me to have somebody come in my life and play that role. I learned from it."
The Los Angeles Lakers alum, who also sent some love to the father of one on his 37th birthday, said that "once a family, always a family." He further noted that his grandmother Mildred Mercer raised him with an "old school" mindset, adding, "The past is the past."
Lamar also shared that he wished Rob nothing but the best for him even though he hasn't seen the latter for years. "We're always going to be family," the 44-year-old said. "I want everybody to be happy."
Elsewhere in the interview, Lamar sang his ex Khloe praise. Calling the Good American founder a "strong" woman, Lamar said that she's someone who "I've always looked up to." She added of the mom of two, "She's always looked amazing to me."
That aside, Lamar is preparing to launch a new podcast, titled "Keeping Up with Sports", with Caitlyn Jenner and Zach Hirsch. The upcoming podcast, which will talk about "our life experiences" as athletes, will feature boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard in its inaugural episode.
A recent report claimed that the Kardashian-Jenner family "was blindsided by this and they feel that they are absolutely going to be discussed on the podcast." A source added, "The only things they could possibly have in common is that they are both Kardashian family outcasts."
The insider further claimed, "Caitlyn will do anything to try and upstage Kris or get under her skin, but this is the most bizarre one ever." Of the former "I Am Cait" star, the source divulged, "She is devastated over her shattered relationship with the kids that she helped raise but she knows it is partly her own fault."
As for Lamar, the informant said that he "knows that it is his fault for losing Khloe yet still, to this day, talks about her."
