AceShowbiz - Cardi B may be making a grand return to the small screen. Rising to fame after appearing on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: New York", the "Bodak Yellow" raptress is reportedly in talks to star alongside TV icon Fran Drescher on "The Nanny" reboot.

Talking to Extra, the 61-year-old revealed that she's planning to get Cardi on the project and play the role of her on-screen daughter. "She started it because she kind of paid homage to me, putting our pictures side by side when she was wearing animal print and it was me in animal from ‘The Nanny’ and that just went viral, that got my creative juices going," she said.

Fran went on, "She's got a funny voice, too. Have you ever heard her speak… so what kind of a great mother/daughter would we be? Amazing, I think."

Cardi seemingly was down with the idea, writing on her Instagram account, "IM WITH IT !!!!This makes me so happy cause i love her."

While both Fran and Cardi are excited to work together on the reboot, fans appear less than thrilled to have the new mom on the show. "I love Cardi B but can we leave The Nanny as it was -- don't ruin it" tweets a fan. "@frandrescher The Nanny is CLASSY with amazing moral fiber and positive lessons for young women!
