AceShowbiz - Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks is to reprise her White Witch character on the new season of American Horror Story.

The singer, who appeared as a fictionlised version of herself in American Horror Story: Coven, will return to the drama, along with fellow former favourites Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, and Frances Conroy, according to a tweet from the show's creator Ryan Murphy.

"So thrilled the family is back together again!" he wrote.

The new season, American Horror Story: Apocalypse will be a crossover between previous seasons, Murder House and Coven.

Both featured Farmiga and Conroy.

Last week, another American Horror Story regular Sarah Paulson announced Jessica Lange would be returning as her AHS: Murder House character, Constance Langdon, in the new series, which debuts in America on 12 September. Paulson will be directing the episode in which Lange returns to the TV franchise.
