'Big Brother' Season 19 Premiere: Biggest Twist Gets a Houseguest Evicted
TV

Jillian, Cameron and Christmas were in a chopping block after grabbing poisoned apples and got their fates determined by 13 safe houseguests, who would vote to evict one of the three.

AceShowbiz - "Big Brother" kicked off its season 19 on Wednesday, June 28. This season featured 16 new houseguests who would be offered tempting perks that, if taken, would reveal consequences into the house. Tonight's episode featured the first temptation, which led to the biggest twist on the show with one houseguest getting evicted in the first night into the competition.

Host Julie Chen took the HGs to pods in the backyard, explaining the first temptation of the season. They were presented the chance to win $25,000, though it comes with both a perk and a pitfall. If one decided to keep the money, his or her identity would be kept anonymous. But if anyone did it, s/he wasn't allowed to become Head of Household for Week alongside a revelation of the first biggest twist.

Kevin scooped the cash prize. And later, the first consequence, or one might call it a threat, was unleashed: Paul Abraham, runner-up of Season 18, returned to competition for this season. Now that Paul joined the show, another HG was bound to get evicted and sent home.

Eight HGs could avoid getting evicted by getting bracelets from Paul, who was given a box of friendship bracelets. After a moment full of pinky-swear promises in exchange for safety, Paul announced that Kevin, Raven, Dominique, Mark, Jason, Jessica, Ramses and Elena got the bracelets.

The remaining HGs were later forced to compete in a Garden of Eden-esque endurance challenge. Cody and his welt-build body emerged victorious, leaving Jillian, Cameron and Christmas in a chopping block after grabbing poisoned apples.

The final temptation saw the three choosing how their fates would be determined. They were left with two options: first was letting other HGs vote while the second option required them to compete against each other in order to avoid being sent back home. Jillian and Christmas voted for Eviction votes, while Cameron voted for an Eviction competition.

Now that their fates were determined by safe HGs, the last minutes of the episode was full of uncomfortable "Please keep me!" conversations. The result forced Cameron to pack his belongings as he got 8 votes, while Jillian and Christmas were given a second chance to stay in the house with 3 and 2 votes respectively. It turned out that Jason and Josh voted to evict Christmas, while Mark, Matt and Cody all voted to evict Jillian. Ramses, Kevin and the remaining six women were the eight HGs who voted to evict Cameron.

"Big Brother" season 19 airs on Thursdays at 9 P.M., Sundays at 8 P.M. and Wednesday at 8 P.M. on CBS. In the next episode, fans will see the first Head of Household competition and their nominations.
