AceShowbiz - Oprah Winfrey for President? The queen of daytime TV show entertained the idea of running for the Oval Office in 2020, thanks to President Donald Trump. She is open to presidential bid following Trump's victory despite his lack of experience.
"I never considered the question even a possibility," Winfrey said in an interview billionaire David Rubenstein on Bloomberg. She then added, "I thought, 'Oh gee, I don't have the experience, I don't know enough.' And now I'm thinking, 'Oh! Oh.' "
Trump once considered Winfrey a potential ally and would love to have the OWN founder as his own running mate. "I think we'd win easily," he stated back then. Other business and entertainment figures like Kanye West, Mark Zuckerberg and Bob Iger have also pondered a future presidential run.
