AceShowbiz - A video of Harrison Ford's plane flying over a commercial plane on an airport taxiway has emerged. The footage, which was captured by cameras trained on the runways at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, shows Ford's yellow plane dangerously heading to the taxiway and flying closely over American Airlines 737.

The incident happened on Monday, February 13. The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor, who is also a plane enthusiast, was instructed to land his single-engine Husky on runway 20-L at the airport, but he mistakenly aimed for a taxiway instead. It flew over the top of the Boeing 737, which was holding 110 passengers and six crew. NBC noted that Ford was heard asking on air traffic control recordings, "Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?"

No one was hurt in the incident, but Ford has allegedly made a violation against Federal Aviation Administration safety rules. The actor is reportedly under the investigation by FAA.

Ford, 74, is a licensed private pilot and has logged more than 5,200 flying hours. The actor, though, has been involved in a series of incidents while flying. One of them happened in March 2015, when Ford crashed-landed a World War II-era airplane on a golf course in Santa Monica due to failed engine. He sustained serious injuries in the accident.

"I've been flying for 20 years, and it was a very rare thing to happen," he said in an interview months after the incident. "It was a mechanical issue. No fault of the maintenance or anybody else," he added.
