The Clark County Nevada confirmed in a tweet Wednesday, October 12 that the actor and his 23-year-old lady had no marriage license.

AceShowbiz - Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth are not legally married. The actor made it look like he tied the knot with his girlfriend in Las Vegas earlier this week, but local officials confirmed in a tweet posted on Wednesday, October 12 that the pair had no marriage license.

"Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas," the Clark County Nevada tweeted alongside a photo of the former "Transformers" actor and his lady.

LaBeouf and Goth's Vegas wedding, which included an Elvis Presley impersonator, took place on Monday, October 10. In a video, he was seen wearing a dark suit and white sneakers while his longtime girlfriend donned a lace white dress.

"With this ring; I thee wed; With a prayer; that our love grows stronger; through the passing years. And I'll do whatever you ask me to do," an emotional LaBeouf told his bride at the time. Goth said, "I give you this ring; as a token and pledge; of our vows to each other; praying that our love; shall never fade. And I'm pretty much going to do whatever I want."

The couple also promised to adopt one another's hounddogs, not to wear their blue suede shoes in the rain, to be "one another's teddy bear" and to love each other "like a hunka hunka burning love."

LaBeouf frequently makes headlines for his attention-grabbing stunts. He famously wore a paper bag with the words "I am not famous anymore" written on it during a premiere of his film "Nymphomaniac" back in 2014. Earlier this year, he spent 24 hours in an elevator for another project. However, it's still unclear if the "commitment ceremony" was real or just another stunt.
