As part of their divorce deal, the 'Dawson's Creek' alum has reportedly been banned from talking about her ex-husband and publicly dating anyone for five years.

AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been rumored dating for quite some time now. They've numerous times been seen together and their mutual friend once also confirmed their relationship. However, the two actors themselves have never said anything about their alleged romance and her ex-husband Tom Cruise apparently has something to do with the decision.
According to Radar Online, Holmes signed a secret contract which was expected to "prevent her from embarrassing" Cruise following their 2012 divorce. The deal disallowed her to talk about him and publicly date anyone for five years after the end of their marriage.
"Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce," a source told the publication.
Holmes wasn't entirely banned from dating, though. "She's allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she's not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri," the insider explained.
The deal sounds disgusting, but Holmes agreed to sign it anyway because she really wanted the divorce. "Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms - and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself," the source continued, adding that she would lose the aforementioned money if she breaks the rules.
Holmes and Cruise announced their split in 2012. She's been rumored dating Foxx since 2013 and their pal Claudia Jordan recently confirmed that the pair were indeed in a relationship and were "happy." In the end, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star backtracked her statements.
