Team Arrow Is on Break After Season Finale. What Will Bring Them Back Together?
TV

Based on a new logline, 'sinister players with a connection to Oliver's past will push the team to its breaking point' in the upcoming fifth season.

AceShowbiz - Team Arrow finally took down Damien Darhk in season 4 finale. Unlike the mystery death teased in the midseason finale that gave Oliver and friends a reason to put on their suits, in the May 25 episode titled "Schism" their biggest problem has been solved.

In the aftermath of the showdown, [SPOILER ALERT!] the members of the team decided to take their separate ways. With his suspension from the police force now a little more permanent, Quentin's heading out of town with Donna. Thea also announced that she would be leaving Team Arrow to find out who she really is, after threatening to kill a little girl, Darhk's daughter, to save her brother.

It was down to the original three members until Diggle told Oliver that he needed to leave Star City behind, too, so he rejoined the the army and is heading off to a war. Oliver and Felicity now are the only remaining team members who stick around Star City, but they will likely be occupied with their individual works.

Oliver has been sworn in as mayor of Star City, although in interim position, until an official election takes place. Felicity, meanwhile, is determined to take back Palmer Tech with the help of her new pal Curtis.

With the team members heading into different directions, how the show will bring them back together in season 5? According to a recently released logline, "Sinister players with a connection to Oliver's past will push the team to its breaking point, threatening everything Oliver's worked for and his legacy as the Green Arrow." That's not a surprise since the last episode featured flashbacks to the time when Oliver was stranded on the island.
