A preview for next week's outing shows Daisy leaning on Hive after the shocking reveal about Hive's inside man.

AceShowbiz - While fans are still reeling on the shocking reveal about Hive's inside man in the latest episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", a preview for next week's outing hints that there's more to Daisy's connection with Hive. The sneak peek shows Hive, who uses Ward's body, embracing Daisy.

In "The Team" that aired April 19, it was revealed that [SPOILER ALERT!] Daisy was the one who has been infected by Hive. Chloe Bennet realizes that this new dynamic will get fans excited, but she points out "[Hive] isn't Ward and I'm not Skye, but it's SkyeWard and I know fans are going to love it a little bit, but also be very confused."

Whether Hive and Daisy have the connection because Hive has Ward's memories, she explains, "It has nothing to do with him being Ward, it really has to do with the fact that she's under the influence of drugs. That's what the bosses told me when we were moving forward. They said, 'She is basically on a large amount of drugs and not under her control. She didn't take them, someone gave them to her.' "

Bennett continues, "She's basically been Inhuman-roofied, is how I like to describe it. There's something that Hive does to her - there's a void that she's felt her entire life as someone who is an orphan, who has always wanted to belong. Immediately, that emptiness and that sadness that she's felt is gone, and that's a really powerful thing to give someone - the immediate opportunity to belong and have all their insecurities go away."

Brett Dalton who plays Hive and his host Ward, meanwhile, believes that Ward's still in there. "Ward's still in there and I think that if we know anything about Ward it's that he doesn't go down without a fight and he doesn't go down lightly," he claims. "It's not just the muscle memory of Ward that's in there, it's also all of the thoughts and memories."

He adds, "This guy was a complicated guy and I think that even though Hive is all powerful and using their body as a host, Ward's probably kicking and screaming in there and trying desperately to be heard. Of course he's going to pop up again. It's the motivations, I think, that are going to be surprising to people, and not only surprising, but also fulfilling."

In "The Singularity" that will air Tuesday, April 26 on ABC, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team is left reeling and decimated as Hive continues to sway Inhumans to his side. But there is a sliver of hope as Agents Fitz and Simmons follow a lead that may be able to stop the maniacal Inhuman once and for all.
