Ryan Murphy also says that Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley and more stars who attend the show's Paleyfest panel are all welcomed to return for the next season.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Murphy and "American Horror Story: Hotel" cast attended the show's Paleyfest panel at the Dolby Theater on Sunday, March 20, but there wasn't much to reveal from the upcoming sixth season. The series co-creator claimed the theme for season 6 was still undecided.

"The interesting thing about this season is we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done," said Murphy, who was joined on the stage by Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Denis O'Hare, Wes Bentley, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Matthew Bomer, executive producer Tim Minear and co-creator Brad Falchuk.

"I think the show has always felt to me like an opera," Murphy continued, before teasing, "So, I think both of the things we're writing right now will have a certain feel. But, I think I know what the winner is."

He added, "I don't want to say what it is, but I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back." When asked about the involvement of younger actors in "Hotel", Murphy said both potential ideas included children.

In "Hotel", Paulson reprised her season 1 role Billie Dean Howard in addition to taking on a series regular role as Sally. Murphy teased more connections between each season, "The deeper that we go into the series - hopefully we'll last decades and decades - you will see that there's a definite universe and all the worlds are collided, sometimes in a very bizarre, interesting way. You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along."

Lady GaGa said earlier this month that she would return for season 6, while Bassett spilled the beans that she might play a psychic.
