'Dead 7' features some members of other '90s boybands such as O-Town and 98 Degrees fighting zombies in the Western.

AceShowbiz - From the makers of "Sharknado" comes "Dead 7", a zombie apocalypse film starring the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC members among others. First trailer of the TV movie has been released, revealing how the resurrection of '90s boybands is important to the story.

BSB's Nick Carter is the mastermind behind the pic, writing the story and co-producing it with The Asylum. Sawyer Perry wrote the screenplay while music video specialist Danny Roew directed. Syfy picked it up as original movie and will premiere it on April 1 at 8 P.M. ET/PT.

"Dead 7" is set in the Western, centering on "a reluctant hero (Carter) destined to unite this group of unlikely heroes in the ultimate zombie showdown." Carter said in an interview with Buzzfeed, "Think about it. Boy-banders, people from the late '90s, people who you love, fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world. Pretty crazy, right?"

Also starring in the film are BSB's A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough, NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and O-Town's Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick and Dan Miller.
