First Look at Disney's 'Zootopia' Revealed
Movie

Disney released a first official photo of its upcoming animated movie, revealing two main characters, including a fox named Nick Wilde and a rabbit named Judy Hopps.

AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Animation Studios has given fans a first look at its upcoming animated feature "Zootopia". Making its way out via USA Today, the picture features two main characters in the movie, "sly con-artist fox" known as Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) and "idealistic rookie rabbit cop" Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin).

In the picture, the fox looks so dressed up wearing a striped tie over a green shirt and a pair of tan trousers. Meanwhile, the rabbit, who wears a blue cop suit with an orange vest, trips and is about to fall.

Rich Moore ("Wreck-It Ralph"), who co-directs the film with Byron Howard ("Tangled), describes the movie as a story of two animals "who would naturally never hang out or like one another in the beginning, but over the course of the movie develop a relationship and become friends."

Moore also talks about the voice star of Wilde the fox, saying that the actor could also bring "a funny yet heartfelt side" to the animated fox. As for Goodwin, Moore says that she brings a "very centered sweetness, tremendous heart and a great sense of humor" to her character.

Bateman thinks that voicing Wilde is a challenge since the character is sarcastic. "He's a crafty, sarcastic schemer, and that I've been doing in parts since I was 12," Bateman says of Wilde. "I foolishly said, 'What kind of voice do you guys want me to do?' And they just looked at me like I was an idiot and said, 'Just do what you do. Just talk.' "

Produced by Clark Spencer, "Zootopia" centers on the two main characters, Wilde and Hopps, who don't get along at first but must work together when Wilde needs Hopp's help getting out of a jam as she's trying to crack a big case. The movie is scheduled for a release in the U.S. on March 4, 2016.
