AceShowbiz - Reese Witherspoon will do anything to protect an eyewitness in first "Hot Pursuit" trailer. Arriving online on Thursday, February 12, the two-and-a-half minute video starts with Witherspoon being sent to Sofia Vergara's eyewitness character to protect her. The two flee from the house during a gunfight.

After their escape, the duo starts to befriend each other, going shopping and fighting the gunmen. "That's not underwear, that's diaper," Vergara comments on Witherspoon's white panties. The trailer featuring the pair's hilarious adventures concludes with Witherspoon showing her Spanish skills and trading some words with Vergara.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Witherspoon who is up for a Best Actress trophy at the upcoming Oscars talked about working with the "Modern Family" star, explaining that both of them sometimes struggled with filming because "because we were laughing so hard." The "Wild" actress added, "Her character is so sexy and suave, and I'm so dorky."

She additionally said of her co-star, "Literally every person stares at [Sofia]. Men fall on the floor; women drop their purses. It's like a commercial! Her hair is in slow motion." The comedy, formerly known as "Don't Mess With Texas", is coming to theaters in the U.S. on May 8.
