Katherine says she is sorry that the 'Grey's Anatomy' creator has a 'crappy impression' of her and hopes she can 'do something to change that.'

AceShowbiz - Katherine Heigl opened up about her feud with Shonda Rhimes in an interview with Mario Lopez. When asked about Shonda's recent comments which said Katherine was "difficult to work with" on "Grey's Anatomy", she replied, "The last one with Shonda... it sucks."
"I am sorry that she feels that way and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda. I'm a big fan of her work. I watch 'Scandal' every week, and so I'm sorry she's left with such a crappy impression of me," the former "Grey's Anatomy" star continued, "I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday."
Regarding her negative image, Katherine told Mario, "Yeah, that took some stomaching and having to just go, okay, there's nothing I can do about this except to sort of prove it wrong, you know, and the only way to prove it wrong is for people to have a work experience with me that doesn't speak to that at all."
Asked about how she balanced her family life and her television return, the "State of Affairs" star replied, "This job has been such a blessing for me because I could dictate the schedule and say, look, I don't want to do a season of 22 or 24 episodes. I want to stick to 13 and have the rest of the year off to go home to my kids."
Mario then asked her if she wanted more children. "Yes, I do. Yes. It's a big negotiation going on right now in my house," Katherine answered and laughed.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last month, Shonda slammed Katherine. "I don't put up with bulls**t or nasty people. I don't have time for it," she said after stating that there were no "Heigls" on her current series "Scandal".
