Nevertheless, the former Spice Girl will not define herself as a lesbian because she is happily married to Stephen Belafonte.

AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown admitted that she had a colorful past. The former member of Spice Girls said she sexually experimented with girls way before she fell in love with husband Stephen Belafonte.

During her appearance on "Alan's Carr: Chatty Man", Mel B talked about straight women who have also had same-sex relationships. "Yeah. I was one of those for a few years," she said. But when Carr asked whether she would consider herself a lesbian, the singer said, "I would not call it that. I was just one of those ladies. Now I'm happily married."

Brown tied the knot with film producer Belafonte in June 2007 and they have a daughter together. She also has kids from Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar and actor Eddie Murphy.

Brown was not so open about her sexual past when she appeared on Howard Stern's show last year. After admitting that she kissed all of her Spice Girls bandmates, the Scary Spice was asked whether she considered herself a good role model for the LGBT community. In response, she took off her mic and stormed out of the interview.
