Describing her sexual orientation as 'very open' following her past same-sex relationship, the Spice Girls member refuses to constrain her sexuality into a specific label.

AceShowbiz - Melanie Brown, beloved member of the iconic Spice Girls, has candidly discussed her sexual fluidity in a recent interview with Attitude magazine. "I feel like I am [a member of the LBGTQ+ community]," said Mel B, 48, who had a five-year relationship with American filmmaker Christine Crokos in the early 2000s.

The singer's journey into the exploration of her sexuality didn't begin with a specific label. "I didn't start off my sexual journey going, 'I'm this, I'm that, I'm bisexual. I was, and always will be, very open," Mel B reflected in an interview with Attitude.

"I happened to fall in love with a woman and was with her for five years. We still talk to this day," she added. Despite her romantic involvement with Crokos, Mel B emphasized that she has never attached a label to her sexuality. "I don't want to put a label on it, but I've always thought women are beautiful," she said.

In 2016, Mel B had a heart-to-heart conversation about her relationship with Crokos. "It wasn't experimentation. I fell in love with a woman for five years. An experiment doesn't last five years," she stressed. She is proud of her journey and openness, stating, "I don't see any fear. Why would I have fear? I'm not a fearful person."

She also expressed her unconditional love and support for her daughters, regardless of their sexual orientation, "Whatever my kids want to be, I would celebrate. Whether they were gay, bisexual, transgender, I wouldn't care. I would love and support them as my daughters."
