Also announced as an AMA performer is Garth Brooks, who will sing a track off his new album from a stop on his ongoing tour.

AceShowbiz - More performers for the 2014 American Music Awards were announced on Thursday, November 6. Selena Gomez and Imagine Dragons are now among A-list musicians set to take the stage at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on November 23.

Earlier on Thursday, Gomez debuted her new single "The Heart Wants What It Wants" from her upcoming greatest hits album "For You". The 22-year-old singer will deliver the first television performance of the song at the awards event.

Imagine Dragons will also perform their newest single during the ceremony. The Las Vegas rockers are playing "I Bet My Life" off their sophomore effort.

Garth Brooks is another act who has just been added to the AMA line-up. The country superstar will be singing a track from his new album "Man Against Machine" from Greensboro, N.C., a stop on his ongoing "Garth Brooks World Tour".

The tree stars join previously announced performers that include 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea, Mary J. Blige, Charli XCX, Fergie a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson, Lorde, One Direction, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift and Pitbull. The latter is also serving as the show's host.
