AceShowbiz - A month before its scheduled premiere, "Peter Pan Live!" hired another actor. The show has added Minnie Driver to its cast ensemble to portray grown-up Wendy Darling. The actress will also serve as narrator of the NBC holiday musical event.

"We're thrilled to have Minnie as part of this Peter Pan adventure," said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment. "She appears in the final emotional scene when Peter returns to the Darling home years later only to realize Wendy is now grown up and has a daughter of her own, but you'll also hear her voice throughout the movie since Adult Wendy is also our narrator. She's a classy addition to our wonderful cast."

Driver won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe for her role as Dahlia Malloy on FX's series "The Riches". She currently stars as a series regular on NBC's sophomore comedy "About a Boy".

"Peter Pan Live!" stars Allison Williams as the title character, Christopher Walken as Captain Hook, Christian Borle as Mr. Smee and George Darling, Kelli O'Hara as Mrs. Darling, Taylor Louderman as Wendy Darling, Alanna Saunders as Tiger Lily, Jake Lucas as John Darling, and John Allyn as Michael Darling.

Adapted from the classic Broadway musical which was based on the famous classic tale, the holiday musical event is directed by Glenn Weiss with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. It will air Thursday, December 4 from 8 to 10 P.M. on NBC.
