AceShowbiz - Fun.'s singer and songwriter Nate Ruess is allegedly dating British fashion designer Charlotte Ronson, according to Us Weekly sources. They have reportedly been dating for quite some time but have wanted to keep their relationship out of the public eye.
According to the source, the lovebirds met through Charlotte's twin sister, singer/songwriter and disc-jokey Samantha Ronson. "They've been dating for a few months," a source close to Ronson said. "They're really happy! He is super sweet with her," the source continued.
Another source added that the pair were "introduced a while ago" and even had "a few mutual friends." The source said, "They were introduced a while ago and have met a few times but it recently turned romantic. They have quite a few mutual friends actually. It's cute."
The couple stepped out together for the first time in public on Saturday, July 19, at the Opening Event of "Sound Waves at the Beach" at Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, Montauk, New York. An eyewitness at the event told the magazine that the "Some Nights" crooner was "very incognito and didn't want to pose for photos but stood close and held Charlotte's dog Oliver." The source added, "It's been super hush!"
The indie pop band's frontman previously dated Rachel Antonoff, a sister of his bandmate Jack Antonoff. She is also a fashion designer. The couple broke up after they decided that they just "didn't fit anymore."
