The new track serves as the lead single off the Irish band's upcoming fourth studio effort, 'No Sound Without Silence', that's coming out later this year.

AceShowbiz - The Script is back with a new single titled "Superheroes". Premiered on Monday, July 21 , the track serves as the first official offering from the Irish group's upcoming album "No Sound Without Silence".

"Superheroes" is a catchy pop/rock mid-tempo jam with empowering lyrics. It features the band talking about the pain someone must go through to become stronger. "When you've been fighting for it all your life/ You've been struggling to make things right/ That's a how a superhero learns to fly/ Every day, every hour/ Turn the pain into power," they sing the chorus.

"No Sound Without Silence" will mark The Script's fourth studio effort. It's scheduled to be released in September. On Friday, July 18, Danny O'Donoghue and his bandmates hosted a "Google Hangout" where they revealed the artwork of the new record. They also previewed four of their new songs, including "Superheroes", during the event.

Of what to expect from the follow-up to 2012's "#3", the band recently told U.K.'s Daily Star, "We'd come off stage and start recording straight away in a studio bus. Everything's massive, everything's larger than life on stage so when we hit the studio we wanted it to have that same impact."

Guitarist Mark Sheehan added, "We come off stage and you can imagine the adrenaline is up there. You can smoke or drink it away. That's what we usually do but with a studio there's somewhere to expel that nervous energy."
