Rider Strong, William Russ and Betsy Randle will reprise their respective roles in a holiday episode of the 'Boy Meets World' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - There will be a huge reunion on "Girl Meets World". The upcoming Disney Channel series brings back Rider Strong, William Russ and Betsy Randle to reprise their roles as Shawn Hunter and Cory's parents respectively in a holiday episode.

The said episode was filmed Tuesday evening, March 18 in Los Angeles. Danielle Fishel, who plays Topanga, tweeted a picture from the set, showing the familiar faces joining Cory, Topanga and their kids for dinner. "Happy to have these familiar faces on set with us this week!" Fishel captioned the photo.

Strong has also talked about his return to the "Boy Meets World" spin-off. "It's like time travel," he tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I get to go back to high school, but now I have a clue of what's going on." He also gushes about the young cast, "These kids are too talented for their own good."

"Girl Meets World" will focus on Cory and Topanga's young daughter Riley Matthews, portrayed by Rowan Blanchard. Along with her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), the tween will navigate through middle school under her parents' watchful eyes.

Besides Fishel, other original actors set to appear on the new show include Ben Savage (Cory), Lee Norris (Minkus), as well as William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), who will appear in the pilot.

Executive producer Michael Jacobs said last year that more familiar faces could appear on the show. "We sat down with them and talked about what their roles on the show might be," he said. "Whoever wants to be part of this show will be and whoever wants to move on will. The most important thing is to see what the show is and then see what their part in it will be."

No premiere date is set for "Girl Meets World" just yet.
