The band shares a short clip that features a track they played at a music festival in summer 2013.

AceShowbiz - It has been a while since fans enjoyed new music from Foster the People. However, Mark Foster and his bandmates have hinted that this year will be a busy one for them. Earlier this week, they took to Twitter to announce their comeback.

"We're back. Here's a glimpse of 2014," they wrote and attached a short video. The 45-second clip sees the three guys hitting railroad tracks, hiking through the mountains and enjoying the sea scenery.

The clip also features a snippet of a track called "Feels Like Coming of Age". The trio played the song at a music festival last summer.

The band hasn't given further details about their upcoming projects.

Foster the People released their debut studio album, "Torches", back in 2011. The record was led by hit "Pumped Up Kicks", which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard 100 and has sold more than 5 million copies.

Last November, the band revealed that the follow-up to "Torches" would be something unexpected. "It's not the record that people are gonna expect us to release second," frontman Foster said. "It's definitely an evolution for us, and it's a more polarizing record for us, so I'm excited to see how it's received, for better or worse."
