The former 'Saved by the Bell' star confirms his wife has just given birth to a healthy baby boy, named Dekker Edward.

AceShowbiz - Mark-Paul Gosselaar and wife Catriona McGinn are over the moon to announce the arrival of their first child together. Their son Dekker Edward Gosselaar was delivered around noon on Monday, September 30 in Los Angeles, California, a representative for the actor confirms to PEOPLE.

"We are overjoyed with the new addition to our family. We are madly in love with our little boy," the former "Saved by the Bell" star gushes in a statement. The proud dad adds further, "He is healthy and just perfect - all we could ask for."

The baby joins half-brother Michael, 9, and half-sister Ava, 7, from his longtime marriage to former model Lisa Ann Russell. "The kids are looking forward to a little sibling, and are asking a lot of funny questions right now," he recently said.

Gosselaar, 39, married McGinn in summer 2012 at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, California. They were engaged a year prior, shortly after his divorce with Russell was finalized. His ex has since remarried to "Survivor" host Jeff Probst.
