New 'Gravity' Clip Shows Sandra Bullock's Attempt to Get Back on Earth
Movie

The intense scene, which is reportedly part of the final act in the movie, sees Bullock's character in a very precarious position.

AceShowbiz - Another clip from Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity" has landed online. Without any dialogue, the scene manages to give a hint at how intense the situation surrounding Sandra Bullock's Dr. Ryan Stone is as thing soon turns worse for her when something hits what appears to be a satellite she's holding onto.

Bullock's character is a brilliant medical engineer who is on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone-tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.

The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

The sci-fi thriller has received critical acclaims after it was premiered at the Venice Film Festival last August 28. Academy Award-winning filmmaker James Cameron even said, "I think it's the best space photography ever done, I think it's the best space film ever done, and it's the movie I've been hungry to see for an awful long time"

The film will hit theaters nationwide on October 4.
