No less than Kendrick Lamar will be the opening act when the rap mogul goes on tour starting October 19.

AceShowbiz - Grammy Award-winning rapper Kanye West has announced that he will soon be embarking on a North America tour in support of his latest album "Yeezus". The G.O.O.D. Music mogul will have no less than another rap superstar, Compton MC Kendrick Lamar, as his front act for the entirety of his 7-week, 23-city tour, with the exception of just five dates.
In a one-word "TOUR" tweet captioning an artwork of his dangling silhouette, leaning backwards with arms stretched, West revealed the upcoming tour on Twitter on September 6. It will be the 36-year-old rapper's first solo tour in five years since his "Glow in the Dark" tour in 2008, following his successful joint "Watch the Throne" tour with Jay-Z in 2011.
Yeezy will kick off his tour on October 19 at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington, followed by 21 other tour dates across the U.S. and Canada before concluding "The Yeezus Tour" at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on December 7. The "Black Skinhead" artist will be playing such famed concert venues as the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Madison Square Garden in New York, among others.
As described in the press release, Yeezy's forthcoming tour will combine "state-of-the-art staging, production, and lighting design with his unmatched aesthetic, visionary creative mind, and an increasingly impressive catalogue of hits spanning his decade-long career."
