One Direction, who performs to the biggest crowd ever on the NBC show, also belts out their 'What Makes Your Beautiful', 'Little Things' and 'Best Song Ever'.

AceShowbiz - One Direction turned New York City's Rockefeller Plaza into their own concert venue on Friday morning, August 23. Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan visited "Today" show and performed to more than 18,000 excited fans, the biggest crowd in "Today" history.

The five British boys belted out some of their biggest hits, which included "What Makes You Beautiful", "Kiss You" and an acoustic version of "Little Things". They also rewarded the loyal Directioners with "Best Song Ever", their massively successful single.

Playing his electric guitar throughout the upbeat track, Niall followed his bandmates as they walked around the stage and greeted fans in the front row.

Band member Zayn, however, almost ruined the boys' big show as he messed up the lyrics when singing "Kiss You".

Radar Online reported that Zayn, who opened the song with his solo, forgot his lyrics and sang "Baby be mine tonight" twice instead of "Baby I'll take you there." Bandmate Louis, who stood behind him, laughed off the error.

Zayn might not be in his best shape due to a night of partying with Rihanna and other stars at VMAs pre-party. A source told the site that the 20-year-old singer headed out to the party before midnight and didn't return to his hotel until around 04:30 A.M..

The condition forced the newly-engaged boybander to cancel interviews, which were scheduled for the rest of the day. The canceled interviews included one in "Morgan and Maddy Show" on Radio Disney. "Bad news guys," the officials of the show tweeted. "@zaynmalik had to cancel all of his interviews for today. He's not feeling well. Hopefully he feels better soon."
