The 'House M.D.' alumna will join the cast as the long-lost, lesbian daughter of Charlie Sheen's late character.

AceShowbiz - "Two and a Half Men" has found Charlie's long-lost daughter. The show casts Amber Tamblyn, who played Martha M. Masters on "House M.D.", in the recurring role of the late Charlie Harper's illegitimate, lesbian daughter, Jenny.
Described as being "sexy" and "gorgeous," the 21-year-old girl "likes everything her dad liked, including women" and she "uses her hotness when she needs to." She moves from New York to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and connect with remaining family members.
Tamblyn is currently booked for a five-episode arc, with the possibility of becoming a series regular. Her character will fill the void left by Alan's son Jake Harper, portrayed by Angus T. Jones who will not return as a series regular.
At the TCA, Chuck Lorre explained how Jenny's arrival would change the show, "I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective. The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."
"Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That's a big job," he added. "The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on 'Two and a Half Men'."
Tamblyn starred as Emily Quartermaine on soap opera "General Hospital" before tackling the title character on "Joan of Arcadia". She also landed roles in feature films, including "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", "The Grudge 2"," The Ring" and "127 Hours".
