While the superhero siblings, as predicted, are officially added to the 'Avengers' sequel, the African-American hero is rumored to be featured as the film's another new addition.

AceShowbiz - Latest buzz on new characters that will be featured in "The Avengers 2" circles around Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Black Panther. Joss Whedon finally admits that the first two heroes are indeed the "brother-sister" he mentioned during the "Iron Man 3" premiere on April 24. Meanwhile, Black Panther is rumored to be the next addition in the upcoming film.

Speaking to IGN, Whedon confirms that the siblings will make appearances in the sequel to "The Avengers". "They had a rough beginning. They're interesting to me because they sort of represent the part of the world that wouldn't necessarily agree with The Avengers," he says. "So they're not there to make things easier. I'm not putting any characters in the movie that will make things easier."

Despite no casting for both characters taking place yet, SuperheroHype learns that "The Lovely Bones" star Saoirse Ronan is the "prototype" for their version of the Scarlet Witch.

As for Black Panther, the report on this character from Bleeding Cool surfaces after Anant Singh, the chairman of Cape Town's film studios, has spilled out a big reveal that Marvel Studios have been in touch and are interested in filming some of the next Avengers film in the area.

The juicy detail suddenly sparks rumor that the upcoming Marvel flick will also feature the Black Panther, the first African-American superhero in mainstream American comics. Also known as T'Challa, the hero comes from the fictional nation of Wakanda, and South of Africa has been a part of his stories, resulting to such prediction from fans.

Produced by Kevin Feige, "Avengers 2" is set for a May 1, 2015 release.
