ABC Orders 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.', Renews 'Revenge', 'Scandal', 'Nashville'

Other titles which are picked up to series by the network include Adam Goldberg's 'The Goldbergs', 'Lucky 7', 'Betrayal' and Rebel Wilson's starrer 'Super Fun Night'.

ABC has officially given "" a go. The network picks up the Joss Whedon-developed project to series and will air a special first look at the new show this Sunday during "" season 2 finale.

"" helmer Whedon writes and directs the pilot of the show, which marks Marvel's first live-action series. will reprise his role of Agent Phil Coulson, who assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D.

The team consists of Agent Grant Ward (), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), an expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (), a brilliant engineer, and Agent Jemma Simmons (), a genius bio-chemist. Joining them is new recruit and computer hacker Skye ().

Also getting series pickups are 's "", "", "", "", "", 's "" and 's comedy series "". In the latter, "" star Wilson plays junior attorney Kimmie Boubier who, along with her two best friends Helen-Alice (Liza Lapira) and Marika (Lauren Ash), has had a standing date every Friday night for the last 13 years.

"", "", "", "", "", "Once Upon a Time", "", "", "", "" and "", meanwhile, get the good news that they all are renewed for a new season. Shonda Rhimes, the creator and executive producer of "Scandal" and "Grey's", shared it to her Twitter followers, "It's officially official that @GreysABC and @ScandalABC are picked up for Season 10 and Season 3, respectively. #bestfansever!"

On the other hand, "" and "" have been canceled after three seasons. The -starring series was renewed for a shortened third season last May, while the sitcom could be saved by USA Network. Also getting the chop are 's comedy "" and freshman drama "".

UPDATE: ABC has also given a series order to "Once Upon a Time" spin-off "" centering on Alice, sitcom "" from the writers of "", and dramas "" as well as "" starring as the only woman in the Texas Rangers. Here's the first look at "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland":
