Cee-Lo Green to Return on 'The Voice' as Performer

The former coach of the hit reality TV singing contest will return on the show this May as a guest performer.

AceShowbiz - NBC's reality TV singing competition "The Voice" is bringing its former mentor Cee-Lo Green back for season four, but only as a guest musical performer. The singer/songwriter will be seen on the show this May along with other top acts lined up to take the stage in upcoming episodes such as Rod Stewart, Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams, T.I. and Lady Antebellum.

Green and Stewart are set to perform first on May 8 while the rest of the pack will showcase their new material on May 14. Green, who served as one of the coaches for the first three seasons of the show, will perform his latest hit single "Only You" featuring Lauriana Mae, while Stewart will deliver a song from his forthcoming album, his first in ten years, due to come out on May 7.

May 7 is also the release date of Lady Antebellum's new album "Golden" and they are set to perform one of its tracks, "Goodbye Town", when they guest on the show the week after. Meanwhile, the trio of Thicke, Williams and T.I. will appear on the show to dish out their latest collaboration "Blurred Lines".

Aside from Green, Thicke, Williams and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum have all at one point been mentors as well on "The Voice". Thicke had his mentoring stint back in season two while Williams and Scott helped out in season four.
