"" sequel is not dead yet, has confirmed. The actress playing Elizabeth Shaw in the much-bickered-about 2012 sci-fi film brings the good news to fans of the Ridley Scott-created tale that the follow-up project is still ongoing and that the script is already worked on.

To The Playlist, Noomi admits that she's met with Ridley to discuss the sequel. "They're working on the script. I met Ridley in London a couple of weeks ago," she spills. "I would love to work with him again and I know that he would like to do another one. It's just like we need to find the right story. I hope we will."

My body was a complete mess - I had bruises and cuts and emotionally I was a bit slammed. But being in his world and his universe was such an amazing experience."

The sequel is projected to be released sometime in 2014 or 2015. Noomi is expected to return alongside , who played android David in the first film.
